About the role

We are looking for a Sports Media Localisation Editor – Spanish to join our media team. You will be responsible for producing and localising content in the categories Predictions and Where to Watch, as well as updating previously published articles. The goal is to provide readers with clear, accurate, and reliable information, always aligned with SEO best practices.

The role will involve localising content from one geo into Spanish-language geos, including Spain, Peru, Argentina and Mexico, during the 2026 World Cup. The role will run from June 9 – July 18. Further opportunities could also be available depending on performance.

Fluent Spanish and workable English is essential. Knowledge of LATAM Spanish and other languages is desirable, but not essential.

Payment terms: €700-€800 for period June 9, 2026 – July 18, 2026 (exact total dependant on volume of article localised)

Average expected workload: 1hr – 1hr 30mins per day

Key responsibilities

• Translating and localising content from one geo into Spanish language geos

• Generating and optimising articles through use of AI

• Meeting business requirements & requests, including inserting betting CTAs into articles

• Proof-reading and fact-checking before publication

• Publishing articles on websites’ CMS

• Meeting deadlines and maintaining good communication with POC

• Adhering to SEO best practices

• Documenting completed assignments in dedicated work rota

What we’re looking for ?

• Native or fluent Spanish speaker.

• Good knowledge of sports and major international competitions.

• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.

• Ability to adapt content for different Spanish-speaking markets.

• Comfortable using AI tools and following SEO guidelines.

• Experience in content writing, localisation, translation, or digital publishing is a plus.

• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) is a plus.

• Reliable, organised, and able to meet deadlines.

• Workable English for internal communication.

• Knowledge of sports betting terminology is a plus.
