About the role

North Star Network is looking for a Czech Content Writer to join our editorial team.

As a Writer, you will create high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for our Czech sports betting and online casino websites. Working closely with Content Managers, Editors, and SEO specialists, you’ll produce content that helps users make informed decisions while supporting the growth of our brands in the Czech market.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Write original, high-quality articles following detailed content briefs and editorial guidelines.

• Produce sports betting, online casino, bookmaker, slot, and gambling-related content tailored to the Czech market.

• Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and up-to-date information.

• Adapt your writing style to different audiences, brands, and content formats.

• Deliver content on time while maintaining consistently high quality.

• Good working knowledge of WordPress (you should be able to upload and format articles yourself).

SEO & Content Optimisation

• Apply SEO best practices, including keyword optimisation, internal linking, metadata, and content structure.

• Update existing content based on feedback from Content Managers and SEO specialists.

• Review and refresh articles to ensure accuracy, relevance, and strong search performance.

• Follow content briefs designed to maximise visibility and user engagement.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Content Managers, Editors, and SEO Specialists.

• Incorporate editorial feedback and continuously improve content quality.

• Communicate proactively regarding deadlines, challenges, and content ideas.

• Contribute to maintaining a consistent editorial tone across all Czech brands.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all content complies with editorial standards, local regulations, and responsible gambling guidelines.

• Register at both bookmakers and online casinos and provide screenshots of the registration and bonus activation process as proof of genuine user experience (personal data will always be blurred).

• Maintain a high level of accuracy, readability, and credibility.

• Understanding of current Czech gambling law and regulation, including the fact that MF ČR licences are issued separately per game type — a company licensed for kurzové sázky does not necessarily hold a licence for technické hry or živé hry, and vice versa.

• Excellent research and writing skills to produce engaging, informative, and unique content (no AI-generated or rewritten articles).

• Every bonus figure and condition must be sourced from the operator’s own official terms — no invented numbers, and no claims that cannot be traced back to a document.

What we’re looking for

• Legally eligible to register and maintain personal accounts on Czech-licensed sports betting and online casino operators, this requires being of legal age (18+) and holding valid official identity documents that can pass operators’ identity verification (KYC) against official records.

• Native Czech speaker with excellent writing and editing skills.

• Professional working proficiency in English.

• Previous experience writing SEO content, ideally within sports betting, online casino, or iGaming.

• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and content optimisation.

• Excellent research skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to write engaging, informative, and conversion-focused content.

• Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced, international environment.

• Highly organised, autonomous, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
